Meanwhile, Trees by Mark Waldron, published by Bloodaxe, will be our next book choice. Recent reviews by Carol Rumens in The Observer and Sean O’Brien in The Guardian describe the collection as ‘bizarre and invigorating’ and with ‘enough wit to sink a battleship’. We’ll meet on Wednesday 1st February at 7pm in the usual place (main bar of the CCA) for discussion about the book and any other poetry you’ve been reading. See you there.
