Pascale Petit’s Fauverie (Seren) is our choice for January. Pascale Petit was born in Paris, grew up in France and Wales and lives in London. She has published six poetry collections and was named in 2004 as one of the Next Generation Poets by the Poetry Book Society. This is her fourth collection to appear on the T S Eliot Prize shortlist. Fauverie draws imagery from the big-cat house in Jardin-des-Plantes zoo in Paris to examine Petit’s relationship with her dying father.
The book group will meet at 7pm on Wednesday 28th January in the main bar of the CCA, Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow; all welcome, discussion informal.
